Statement of the ‘National Network of Charitable and Philanthropic Institutions’ condemning the attack on Gaza hospital
Today is a day of mourning for humanity, for humaneness, and a day to cry over the sea of innocence of children who are being brought down in blood and dust before the eyes of the world.
And the question we all have is; for what sin are they being killed?
The ‘Iranian NGOs’ stand alongside all freedom-seekers of the world and all the awakened consciences of the universe; demanding a ceasefire, an end to bombings, a halt to war and violence, and condemning the perpetrators of this great crime.
Attacking women, children, people with disabilities, defenseless civilians, and bombing and destroying the ‘Al-Ma’medani Hospital in Gaza’ is in violation of ‘Articles 2 and 3 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide’, ‘Article 7(1) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court’, the ‘Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment’, ‘Article 1 of the Convention Against Torture’, and the ‘United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child’.
The National Network of Charitable and Philanthropic Institutions, while being ready to assist and support all victims, calls upon the ‘global community’, ‘charitable institutions with consultative status in the United Nations ECOSOC’ and ‘all volunteers and members of charitable institutions around the world’: to condemn globally this inhuman attack on hospitals and residential homes and the massacre of civilians, and on Thursday, October 19th, at precisely 21:00, ‘hour of sympathy’, as a sign of solidarity with the people of Gaza and to halt war and bloodshed in the whole world, recite and share in their ‘native language’ this universal poem by ‘Saadi’ which is inscribed at the United Nations entrance:

In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain
